Tuesdays are the weekly Singer-Songwriter Showcase hosted by Bill Davis. Sign-ups are at 9:15 w/ music at 9:45pm. If you're an acoustic act looking to book a show, this is a good place to start. We usually only do acoustic music on Tuesday nights.
Located in the heart of South Congress, Trophys is a 200-250 cap room. Cover usually varies between $0-8, with the occasional high $$ show. We're a beer and wine bar. You ARE ALLOWED to bring in your own booze (ie. whiskey, vodka). We want you to have the best time you possibly can at our club. Set-ups are no longer available. We accept CASH and CREDIT (Visa / Mastercard). We have a big and nasty backyard deck area where people can drink and smoke and get crazy. We were voted the "best dive club" by the Austin American-Statesman in 2005. Acts that have graced our club include : Spoon, Bad Wizard, Ghostland Observatory, Lions, Yuppie Pricks, Honky, Grady, Dixie Witch, Riverboat Gamblers, Witch, White Denim, Valient Thorr, Drums and Tuba, Peelander Z, Amplified Heat, The Black Angels, and many more. Dave Sprauer still owns the bar and Matt Drenik is the talent buyer. Colby is no longer working for the club at this time.
