Woah. Ruta Maya was not anything like what I expected. I recently went to the venue to attend an AmeriCorps benefit. It is so much larger than I thought! Unlike your typical coffeehouse, the space and the stage are very big. In fact, the stage dominates the room. This is not the type of place where you go to work on the laptop while listening moreWoah. Ruta Maya was not anything like what I expected. I recently went to the venue to attend an AmeriCorps benefit. It is so much larger than I thought! Unlike your typical coffeehouse, the space and the stage are very big. In fact, the stage dominates the room. This is not the type of place where you go to work on the laptop while listening to the band in the background. If you are there while a band if playing, the show will demand all of your attention.
