He hails from the west coast city of Perth, in Western Australia. It was clear from an early age that Morgan possessed rare musical talent. This talent was nurtured with the help of his mother, a music teacher. A natural singer, it was around the age of 15 that he realized his talents were special and he had more to offer the world. Shortly after, he picked up a classical guitar and began teaching himself basic chords. A key point in Morgan’s musical evolution was his introduction to the music of Eric Clapton, which fueled his passion and ultimately led to the development of his own musical style. It became his life's ambition to master the three elements which Clapton continues to evolve so eloquently: singing, songwriting and of course, playing the guitar with great agility. Morgan has since toured the Australian West Coast playing both acoustically and with his band.
