The diversity of music and of the crowd alone make it worth the trip. There are places to sit, but more importantly for most people, there is space to dance.
The cover charge ranges (usually between $5 to $10). I assure you though, the $10 is almost always worth it. They know the value of the show before they price it. However, if you just want to check out the place without paying a hefty cover charge, check out some of the free happy hour shows.
Bottom line, don't miss out on a chance to see a show at the historic Continental Club.

Also known as "Country music's worst nightmare," the Cornell Hurd Band is BIG in sound & personality. With a mix of country, western swing, comedy & plenty of boot-scootin', band members Scott Walls (steel guitar), Howard Kalish (fiddle), Paul Skelton (lead guitar), Cornell Hurd (shtick/guitar/vocals), Lisa Pankratz (drums), Randy "The Badger" Glines(bass), Blackie White (guitar), Del Puschert (tenor sax) and T Jarrod Bonta (piano) serve up some hot tunes.
San Antonio's Hans Frank & The Auslanders will headline this show. "Hans Frank was the leader of a nationally successful band, 10 City Run. Bobby Natanson is still drumming with him, and they, along with legendary guitarplayer Pete Mitchell, now call themselves either Hans Frank and the Auslanders or Glambilly. The sound is rocknrollcountry with a definite edge, and the band is on the verge of a breakout," according to Texas Music Times. They go on to say, "This is just well-written fringe-country music, performed by a trio of terrific musicians who, by the way, have all performed at the Grand Ole Opry."
